Douglas Rigler joins executive team in newly created position

Arlington, VA (October 20, 2022) — Snell Properties announced today that Douglas Rigler has joined the real estate investment and development company as Vice President, Construction & Development.  Mr. Rigler arrives with a track record of success in construction management as well as hands-on experience as a licensed architect, bringing a unique blend of sought-after skills to the role.  At Snell, he will provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the company’s construction pipeline, from ground-up development projects to renovations and value-enhancement endeavors at existing properties in the portfolio.

Prior to joining Snell, Mr. Rigler served as Vice President, Construction at Artemis Real Estate Partners in Chevy Chase, Maryland.  At Artemis, he oversaw major construction projects across the existing portfolio and managed over $700 million of investment in ground-up development construction with a total budget of more than $1.7 billion.

Mr. Rigler was previously Vice President, Construction at Federal Capital Partners, where he supervised the company’s construction activity.  This included multifamily, commercial and office assets.  Mr. Rigler graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Columbia College in New York.
